Flying to Lanzarote
César Manrique–Lanzarote Airport (ACE) is the island’s only airport, located just outside Arrecife. Flight time from the UK is approximately 4 hours, with regular direct services operated by Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2, TUI and British Airways.
The airport is around 15 km from Costa Teguise — roughly a 20–25 minute drive by car.
Getting to Costa Teguise
There are several ways to travel from the airport to the apartment. Choose the option that suits you best.
Car Hire (Recommended)
Hiring a car is the best way to explore Lanzarote at your own pace. Several rental companies operate from the airport, including Cicar, AutoReisen, Europcar, Hertz and Avis. We recommend booking in advance for the best rates.
Private Transfer
A pre-booked private transfer is a comfortable, convenient option. Expect to pay around €25–€35 each way. Your driver will meet you at arrivals and take you directly to the resort.
Taxi
Taxis are available outside the terminal. The fare to Costa Teguise is typically €25–€30, metered by law. Most taxis accept credit cards.
Driving Directions
From the airport, follow the LZ-2 motorway north towards Arrecife. Continue onto the LZ-1 heading towards Costa Teguise. Follow the resort signage once you reach the Costa Teguise exit — Sands Beach Resort is well signposted within the resort area.
